Day 6

Christopher arrives...with donuts!!
we went to Explora that afternoon:
You could fly this remote plane and the wind would blow in your face
Wind blow out of these pipes and you could 'balance' the balls in the air...
Emmett just kept trying to grab them and loved it!

Christopher got the bubbles to cover his kids!
This is the elevator....you heard me right! Elevator!

the electricity station was really fun...you
could build circuits and get light bulbs to turn on and stuff

and this was some type of heat camera...black areas are cold
guess who's hands those are?!
and in mom's family fun magazine, I found this cute project that Kenzie did!
A rug out of t-shirts...it wouldn't lay flat, though, so she folded it in half and made a purse!!

Day 5

Wednesday morning, Nik helped us with the gardens. While we were out there, Jayden was playing with some tools and Payton wanted one, too, so I found some old paintbrush, which turned into a 'painting the bricks' tool (we had stacks of bricks we were building the raised gardens with), with puddles of water being his paint, which turned into the cool tool that everyone wanted, so I found some more, and they got some ice cream buckets and filled with paint (water) and that turned into painting (washing) all the walls, twice, then the table and the grill....They seriously did this for hours! It was great fun!

That afternoon we went up to the foothills and took a
hike and had a picnic at the top of 'the mound.'
water break
this doesn't really do it justice...

cuzzin buddies
Micah had promised the kids a campout...

and a fire!

Not the worst night's sleep we've ever had...

Good mornin'!

Day 4 (tuesday, if you're counting)

Jayden started out the day by feeding Emmett his breakfasts...they were all good helpers!!
we went to the zoo!!

yeah, I don't think I'd want this guy throwing anything at me...
he would make eye contact and looked like he was a little annoyed

and of course, this part was the kids' favorite!
They could have spent all day here

One of our other favorite things about Albuquerque....
