This made me chuckle....

I know...country songs can be really cheesy. But sometimes they catch you off guard. I heard this one a few weeks ago-just listen to the first verse and chorus even....I shouldn't have warned you you might laugh, cause then it doesn't catch you off guard as much, but oh well....check out this link

Especially for Knab....

So I was trying to avoid making an announcement through flattering pictures, plus I still had some friends I wanted to call personally to share our exciting news, but after getting a phone call yesterday from one on my list, I realized that I am not very good at phone calls and if I wait much longer it'll be too late! So...just imagine hearing this over the phone!

Without further adieu, I present the before mentioned flattering pictures!
Here I am above 1 month ago and here I am below, last night, at 26 weeks!
We are NOT finding out what gender, but hoping for a boy or girl at least ;)
(I know, I have never been called crazy so much before in my life!)
Here are some fun pics from the ultrasound.
Here are 2 of the new 3-D pictures they can take! She said our baby was being a little camera shy because either its arm or the cord was up by its face every time she tried to look at it.
This one came out pretty good, I think, though! You can see the chin, lips, nose and its arm on its left side curled up behind its head. I guess by no means are these going up on the wall with family portraits, but I am amazed at technology!!

The baby's arm covering its face....but you can the eye and maybe s/he's even sucking his thumb! That would be the LaPierre genes shining through ;O)
Anyways, I have felt absolutely great and consider that a huge blessing! No complications or sickness or anything (knock on wood!) We feel so blessed to be able to be pregnant, to be at this stage in our lives and to have a healthy baby so far. It's something I've never really thought of but as we see pregnancy be such a miracle for some and after working with young children with an array of birth defects, etc.... we are grateful for the miracle of a baby and are happy to hear everything so far is on track!
